A year later, Mant Otans still alive through FOMO

A year from today, a “Mapou” fell. And yes, on April 20, 2020, Hortancia Charles (Mant Otans) left to “nourish the roots of life”, as Léopold Séda Senghor would say.

This is an occasion that could have brought us pain and sadness. But it is not. On the contrary, in our hearts and in our thoughts, we celebrate life. In particular, that of this great lady with an angelic heart who made her life a work of generosity and sharing. And we, his descendants, friends, and relatives, we make it a point of honor to perpetuate it through the Mant Otans Foundation (FOMO).

Launched almost a year ago, FOMO is working hard to stick to its leitmotif. This would not be possible without the unpayable contribution of members, volunteers, partner institutions and the entire community. All of you, as much as you are, have our deepest gratitude!

Today we still have a long way to go. We are fully aware of this. And the community can be sure, we will never get tired of it. Not as long as this precious breath of life continues to dwell in us and our posterity. The meeting is and will be at the top!
